Your fundraising dilemmas consume my thoughts each and every day, and I write about them to suggest real world solutions: books, white papers, training videos, my weekly free blog post. You see, I have been where you are having served as the executive director of three nonprofits. I have been a faculty member of the New York University Heyman Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising, and have coached groups of nonprofit executive directors at New Jersey’s Rutgers Business School’s Institute for Ethical Leadership. I write, teach and consult in order to help you advance your nonprofit’s fundraising program. I am a long-standing member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and have served on their Planning Committee for Fundraising Day in New York City. I earned three graduate degrees all related to public service. I teach workshops on fundraising all over the country, across Europe and SE Asia. Contact me if I can help you.
This is not a "how to" book. Not in the conventional sense. "How to" fundraising books have, unfortunately, flooded the market. What you’ll rarely find on the bookshelves of our profession is a guide to thinking deeply about fundraising. That’s what Laurence A. Pagnoni has written for you.
Right at the start, I fell in love with this new book by Laurence Pagnoni. And the love went all the way to the end.
—Simone P. Joyaux, ACFRE, Philanthropy Program, St. Mary’s University, Minnesota
“Laurence’s book is the long-awaited toolkit that America’s heroic social change advocates need and deserve”
– Billy Shore, CEO, Share our Strength
